So much of how we feel and look is not only due to exercising on a regular basis, but a result of the food and drink we put into our bodies. Educating myself about nutrition and new innovative approaches to health and fitness will hopefully accomplish what our mission statement here at JSF is…to not only encourage but empower our clients to achieve a lifetime of wellness.

Bucky says if a participant leaves his class with the feeling of completing a journey then he has succeeded and all the other numerous benefits of the Spin program will fall into place. It is also very important to Bucky that all levels can participate in the same “Training Session” never to be called a “Workout”. Weather you are a runner giving your joints a break , a cyclist training through the winter, a swimmer adding on to aerobic base work , someone brand new to activity or a “Crazed Spinner” who needs that recovery ride, we can all train together in the Spin Room.

Lee Ann encourages others to remember that your wellness is not limited to only going to the gym, it is also about how you fuel your body. Her advice to others is to try a variety of classes, some that may seem challenging, and you will be surprised at what you are capable of!
This 55-minute class offers a low-impact, highly effective cardio workout on the bike. This class uses MyZone heart rate technology so you know exactly where you are working. You do not have to have a MyZone heart rate monitor to attend this class; you are still welcome to come cycle. But, we'll warn you, you will want a MyZone band after you take this class!
