Nate King grew up being involved in football, basketball and track. Nate has been working out for over 16 years doing weight training, cardiovascular exercise, cross training and circuit training. A graduate of the W.I.T.S. program at Midlands Technical College, Nate is a certified personal trainer.
Nate is also a Registered Nurse. A graduate of South Carolina State, he currently works for the American Red Cross where he treats patients with rare autoimmune and blood disorders.
Nate's outgoing personality and passion for health and wellness make him a great motivator and instructor.

This weight training class is perfect for beginners and experts alike. Our skilled instructors take you through a full-body weight training session in 45 minutes and finishing with a set of TABATA cardio! This class focuses on proper form and helping you, the client, master the basic mechanics behind strength exercises. Advanced participants can use this class as an opportunity to lift heavier and push beyond strength plateaus. Props used: dumbbells, medicine ball, Bosu trainers.
Afterburn is an innovative, circuit-style class that utilizes rowing machines. The class is based around your MyZone belt, pushing you to stay in the "Afterburn" zone. Moving through 7 different circuits, you will get a full-body workout that is guaranteed to give your day a boost!
*MAX* (Full Body)
MAX (Maximum Interval Training) is a 30-minute class that promises to push you to your maximum levels of exertion.
For those who are unfamiliar with interval training, it is essentially a form of training where you vary your exertion in several intervals. For instance instead of running for 30 minutes you might divide this into two minutes of jogging, one minute of sprinting and five minutes of walking and repeat this several times.
Although the MAX class is inside, the same logic will apply with the use of plyometric moves, weighted and body weight strength exercises. It's only 30 minutes, but in this case, 30 minutes is plenty of time!
This kickboxing class is perfect for beginners and experts alike. Our instructors will take you through a mix of boxing techniques, weights and core work that is sure to give you a great workout in 45 minutes. Here you will learn the fundamentals of the kickboxing, including proper breathing techniques, punching form and combinations, kicking form, etc. Props used: gloves, weights, yoga mat.
PUSH alternates strength and cardio sets with short periods of rest. Classic interval training, PUSH will yield continuous dips and spikes in your heart rate; it's great metabolic conditioning! PUSH will absolutely PUSH you to your limits.
