Lee Ann Bauer
Lee Ann has always had a passion for fitness. After playing basketball and running track in high school, she felt the desire to pursue her health and wellness after college. Lee Ann attended the University of South Carolina and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. After moving to Colorado after college, she realized how important it was to find what motivates her to continue her healthy lifestyle.
Upon her return to Columbia, she joined Jamie Scott Fitness and was instantly motivated by the high energy instructors and the realization that she was growing stronger. This drove her to follow her aspiration to become a JSF motivator. With a background in ballet, becoming a Barre instructor seemed a natural fit.
When Lee Ann is not teaching or at JSF, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs. They enjoy time outdoors and being with family and friends.
Lee Ann encourages others to remember that your wellness is not limited to only going to the gym, it is also about how you fuel your body. Her advice to others is to try a variety of classes, some that may seem challenging, and you will be surprised at what you are capable of!

Afterburn is an innovative, circuit-style class that utilizes rowing machines. The class is based around your MyZone belt, pushing you to stay in the "Afterburn" zone. Moving through 7 different circuits, you will get a full-body workout that is guaranteed to give your day a boost!
Burn through belly fat and strengthen core muscles through an intense and effective core focused workout. Feel your heart rate constantly fluctuate throughout class allowing better fat burning and abdominal shaping. With the dynamic and essential stretching done to target the areas worked during class you will become long and lean, as well as more flexible and less injury prone.
INTERVAL (Cycle 30)
If you love cycle and you love high-intensity interval training -- this is the perfect class for you!
This fast-paced class will keep you focused and leave you breathless. Clocking in at just 30 minutes, Interval Cycle 30 is one of the most efficient ways to burn calories and get in a great cardio workout.

Ideology: Barre Focus is a fast-paced, 50-minute class designed to get your heart rate up and achieve maximum muscle toning. In class, you work your body head to toe with high-energy cardio moves followed by intense toning segments.
Equipment: Light weights, Spri Ball, Mat, and Therabands
Footwear: Socks with a grip or dance shoes
Cycle-X (Extended Ride)
This 55-minute class offers a low-impact, highly effective cardio workout on the bike. This class uses MyZone heart rate technology so you know exactly where you are working. You do not have to have a MyZone heart rate monitor to attend this class; you are still welcome to come cycle. But, we'll warn you, you will want a MyZone band after you take this class!
Are you in a hurry but need High Intensity and amazing workout results? 50% weights, 50% cardio. Think Weights and Cardio on steroids! An hour's worth of work in 45 minutes or less. Props used: dumbells, Bosu trainer, and medicine ball.
Combine weights and cycling in this unique, total body class. Begin in the Cycle Studio for 40 minutes of cardio that also serves as your leg workout, then move into the main studio for 20 minutes of weights, focusing on the upper body and core. Truly, the best of both worlds. Props used: dumbbells, Bosu trainers, indoor cycles.
