Katie grew up playing sports. After high school, her competitive streak and a desire to challenge herself led her to train and qualify for the Boston Marathon, which she completed in 2013.
She recently completed her AFAA Personal Training certification and is finishing up her Bachelor's degree in Business at the University of South Carolina.
Katie's desire to help and inspire others to feel strong and healthy is what led her to pursue personal training and teaching classes at JSF.
Her advice to clients? When it comes to increasing your fitness level, no one can do it for you. You have complete control over your effort, so capitalize on your time in class -- it is an opportunity to improve yourself!

Afterburn is an innovative, circuit-style class that utilizes rowing machines. The class is based around your MyZone belt, pushing you to stay in the "Afterburn" zone. Moving through 7 different circuits, you will get a full-body workout that is guaranteed to give your day a boost!
RIPPED is a unique class which utilizes battle ropes in a number of ways. You'll work core, upper body and lower body all while getting a killer cardio workout.
